Cancelled: Vic Showcase

It is with a great sense of sadness but also some pride in “responsible management” that given the uncertainty of the immediate future for sport and society here in Victoria, we have decided to cancel the “All Australian Showcase” that was schedule for June 28, 2021 at Altona Basketball Stadium.

As managers of the showcase and given the uncertainty of the immediate future, we feel uncomfortable holding the funds of people who have registered for the event and therefore will systematically refund all the fees.

In anticipating a further lockdown, and the difficulty in making firm bookings for every element of the Showcase, All Australian Basketball management, Basketball Victoria, and BA Pathways really have no alternative but to take this course of action.

We as a group will continue to look at ways of assisting the youth of Victoria and Australia with programs that build player profiles for recruitment purposes so that every young basketballer has their best chance of fulfilling their “Hoop Dreams”.

In the meantime, we wish everyone the best of health both physically and mentally as we bounce our way through these difficult times.
